Michael Voris Interview: Remaining in the Church & Bad Bishops

Episode 124
Last week we had a Vortex from Church Militant founder Michael Voris. This week we’ve got an interview with the Catholic Church’s most outspoken layman. I think you’ll enjoy it.

Excellent interview with Michael Voris! I want to subscribe to Church Militant now and keep listening to you! Also, Bishop Schlert of Allentown is my Bishop. Glad you mentioned the year of the Eucharist story in your news section.
Thanks for your kind words, and I’m glad I’ll get to share your loyalty with Michael. 😊
BTW, I don’t know much about Bishop Schlert. Can you further enlighten me about him?
Bishop Schlert is a very good and humble man. He taught me theology years ago at Notre Dame High School (which is still Catholic not like the University!). He loves the Faith and does his best to look out for the people of the Allentown diocese. He was recently interviewed on an episode of EWTN’s nightly news which he talked more about the year of the Eucharist. If you haven’t seen it yet, it is worth watching!
Thanks.
Do you have his email? I’d like to interview him.
With all the talk about the spineless bishops, I sometimes feel like I am between a rock and a hard place. I took a vow of obedience, so I can not just go flying off the handle. Yes there are things that I do not always agree with but I need to pick and choose my battles. Come judgement day, I do not want to answer to a broken vow. If the bishop leads me astray, he will have to answer for that. And yes the laity needs to step up to the plate. Maybe more to come
Please try to remember, my brother, that your vow of obedience applies only to faith and morals, and general instructions regarding the bishop’s property. Also, when a bishop has violated his end of the bargain with illicit and/or tyrannical demands, you’re free of your vow. Of course, I recommend you discuss this in detail with a very learned and competent theologian.
